I have laid cement sheet 6mm ready for flooring in the bathroom, and I have nailed it as per dots on the sheets with the required nails. The joins between the sheets are about 1mm. Will this be ok for lino flooring?
The sheets are level with each other, not stepped.
I'm no expert in laying this flooring but I recently took some photos of a house under construction and the sheet gaps were about 5mm.
I would also be interested in finding out what is the correct gap for laying compressed sheets is.
Hey peter, it should be fine, I think the photo is of compressed fibro sheet 15mm rather than the ceramic tile 6mm underlay that is close nailed.

The only spot that has any level problems is. The bathroom is an extension, and it comes off the original back step. The back step is redgum 50 years old and is a little worn. The underlay is level with it almost, but the difference is the midle of the step being lower because it is worn. Could I make it level and straight using cement or builders bog?
