Find the webpage you want to link to and highlight the address, Ctrl+C to copy it. In your 'Reply to topic', highlight the text you want to attach the link to then pick the icon with the globe and chain link from the toolbar. Hit Ctrl+V to paste the address in there and you're set.
I just realised I've been in IT support too long...:o
I normally highlight the the address then right click & copy.
Type my text then highlight the word and then click on https://www.woodworkforums.com/images...createlink.gifand right click & paste the address into the popup box that appears.
Sometimes you need to delete the http:// bit as it will already have it on the address that you are pasting in.
Now you know!!!
Pete
You mean like this?:)
Or, if you're more of a typist than a pointenclicker, just type your choice of text
For some of us this is faster. :o
Oh... and following your link... the redgum box with the handle recessed through the front? Have you posted pix of that on here before? Nice!
so that's how you do it, I did wonder
just like this one
www.richardspurling.com
Thanks DPB for posting and those for explaining just goes to show there are no stupid questions , just stupid people ( like me ) who also wondered how to do that but were too lazy to ask :D[createlink]
Well thats is good to know but how did DJ #3 get the globe and links into his post?
