Hey guys, just a quick question...
At Bunnings H3 70x35 pine is $2.75plm while H2 is $2.98plm so I was planning on getting some H3 for my internal framing. I've already bought some paslode non gal nails. Can I use these in an internal application or chould I shell out for gal?

I might be wrong here pulse but I can't see it being to big of an issue if you nol gal internaly. I thought you would use gal in applications where they are being exposed to weather. A mate of mine used non gal in a reno at his place and was told it shouldn't be a problem. His was all internal as well.

No worries Pulse. Sorry about the Typos in that post.
Pulse, gal is usually recommended for T/Pine as (1) it is usually used outside and (2) the chemicals in the T/P are corrosive to bright nails.
(1) is not an issue as you are using the T/P inside, (2) is still potentially an issue.

When pine was treated with CCA,the copper would react with ordinary wire nails and reduce their life.Now that LOSP is around,I don't know if the same applies.It might be advisable to speak with the producer.
