What do we do now ??

We commenced with daylight saving in WA today. It is 5pm and the sun is still almost directly overhead.
Could the wise men & women over east tell me what do I do with all that sunlight outside?? :confused:

Go for a swim ,have a game of cricket,play with the kids ,do some gardening,etc,etc :)

If we had it we'd use it to bend more bananas.;)

go out and get some more skin cancer.:rolleyes:

Have an early BBQ dinner, then head for the shed!

Get a light proof box, let the sunlight fill it up, and snap the lid closed!!
Put said box on a shelf until winter, then let it out again.

Just dont put it near the curtains.

Here at Legover Hall, the Lady of the Manor and your correspondent organised a modest entertainment for immediate members of the Legover estate and their partners.

Steaks, lamb chops and some sausages were subjected to the traditional Australian outdoor cooking apparatus. These viands were served with a variety of fresh salads. Wine and beer was consumed. The day's Test cricket was subjected to detailed analysis.

Members of the party are, even now, disposing themselves about Legover Manor in relaxed style while your correspondent takes a brief moment to engage in this communication.

The evening is clearly still young and shows every prospect of being a fine one. A variety of potential entertainments is in prospect. Chief amongst these, it seems to your correspondent, is the consumption of a further round or twain of the fruit of the (red) grape.

All hail Daylight Saving! May the curtains and carpets fade as they will!

Curtains and carpets? You blokes don't have your priorities right, this extra daylight is going to make the drought much worse:(

Those people in WA that have little chiddlets are the only ones who have cause to complain.

Have you tried to put a three or four year old to bed while the sun still shines? :mad: It is sometimes a hopeless task, but one that must be done nevertheless.

Let the curtains fade:rolleyes: , let the cows get confused because they dont know when to let their milk down:rolleyes: and apparently someone in Perth got on the radio this morning and complained that because there will be so much sunlight mums won't be in the kitchen to cook dinner on time therefore more people will eat takeaway dinners and get obese! :eek: Now that is some kind of logic for you.

Actualy Pete thats kinda true. Since daylight savings came in (and longer daylight hours in general) I forget to start dinner on time

The the wife comes home to find that her dinner is not on the table on lets me have it.:o Its a hard life being a home dad.:p

It's fine for you bunch to make a mockery of all this. What about the blokes having the morning glory on the way to work?:D They (I/we) are not used to this.
