What's the best way. . .

to fit window architraves. . .
Hi All
External architraves, meranti, under cover, 90 x 16 machine splayed.
Is it best to cut the top and bootom - same length, then phart about with the L and R uprights. . ?
Or what?
I have the same probs as earlier posts - (1)window set back and (2) weatherboards. I'm gonna pin wood strips to the frame and then pin the architraves onto them.
