guys
i used electrolises on a bailey no5 plane and let it dry of in the oven for an hour,i was very happy with the result.:rolleyes:
unfortunately it has left a metalic smell in the oven according to the wife who was not very happy:D
will this smell go away? or should the oven be cleaned with an oven cleaner

Oven cleaner is good, but beware, "Why did you clean the oven? You did such a great job could you please do it twice a year now?"
Bicarb soda on a plate and a bowl of vinegar in the oven with the door shut would be my suggestion. Leave as long as you can.
But whatever you do, don't turn the oven on while either or both are in the oven.
