I said Oh Gee Shucks once. Maybe the worst thing I ever said is that George W Bush will end up being one of the more significant American Presidents. Seemed apparant enough because we were obviously enough living in significant times. Whether he turns out to be a hero or failure history will judge later but anyway my family being Bush haters decided that was a good enough reason to chuck me out of the family. Old man rang recently and it was like yeah why?

Ok, here's one, and it is of the holy ####: did I just say that, and where is that hole in the floor I can jump into.

When i was younger (17 years ago), I was doing a Welding Engineering course (so I could design welding procedures etc). I broke my arm in a motorbike accident, so was a bit encumbered during the practical workshop sessions. Another professional engineer on the course had had an industrial accident 10 years or so earlier, and only had one arm. We were teamed up together, and I remarked "we'll do well - the 2 one-armed bandits!"

So where was the hole in the floor when you need it?

Been there done that. Got the metal plate in my heel and early arthritis in my ankle to prove it :(

Haven't said too many silly things, done plenty of silly things though. Worst thing I ever said was a beauty though. When talking about kids in a group of people at a work pyss up, turned to the guy next to me and said "you don't have kids, do you?". This was about 2 weeks after his first kid was still-born and I knew all about it. :o :o
