Thanks for that Dean, the review couldn't have come at a better time.
I picked up one of these from Bunnings yesterday, and apart from getting me a little wet, it worked like a charm.
The only problem I found was that it's had to keep the water up to the recommeded level. I'd fill it up, cut a couple of tiles, and I'd have to top it up again. So, not really much of a problem, but something to keep an eye on. Should be easy enough to rig up some sort of reservoir system though.
But, all in all, I'm very happy with my purchase!

yeah. i noticed if you keep the blade guard right down so it just clears the tile surface, then a lot of the water falls back down underneath and water loss is not as bad :)
i had a look at one at my local bunnings thought the laser line was a good idea but looked very cheaply built
What I would be wary of is having to push the tile to the saw. I would imagine the bench top will eventually become rough making it hard to push the tile.
