Not being a mathmetician I thought I'd give the woodies answer to your problem;
y = yellow sawdust
o = orange shavings
u = undersize bits
which is a great big mess :D
probably a better answer than the real one, still no takers though? must be to early to think?
185 in 60 seconds:cool:
y = x^2" provided "abs(x) < 1" or "y = x^3" provided "x >= 1" or "y = 1" provided "x <= -1" ???
Is this a graph?
Edit..forgot the " on the final
The problem is the question.
Does it mean YOU+YOU+YOU=UUU???
3YOU = U cubed?
Greg
Does it mean that 3 ewes = triplets?
Greg
Bob, Iain and Greg. Yes you, you and you. :D
We are trying to solve a maths problem for a year 7 student here. Let get serious.:cool:
Why don't they just say what they mean? If the letters are supposed to correspond to numbers, why don't they just use numbers in the first place? Makes more sense to me. Stoopid teachers!!
:D
BL,
Get back in yer Shed!
lol. maths is fun, and helps you measure, cut, oops measure again recut...........
was just a simple question with 185 the answer, no tricks and Wongo wins...........
maths applies to woodies, but how does algebra apply?
"YOU" = whatever you want and UUU = three times that. If you want to know what "Y", "O" and "U" each represent, I'll get back to you...Quote:

Well there you go. Draft a response then take the squids to school, when you get back it's all over.
Woodies make nice projects
women are attracted to men who are good with their hands
women cant stand to see them enjoying life
women marry men
kids are born
kids go to school
kids get homework
woodies have to help?
