Im looking for some FFFF grade pumice for grain infilling rosewood prior to french polishing a clasical guitar. Have considered other options such as rotten stone and pigmented fillers but its the pumice that Im after.

Liberon have pumice. Don't know if it's FFFF:

There's also U-beaut's "Tripoli Powder" (Rottenstone, again, don't know if it's spot-on for your application):

U-beaut's Talcum powder is advertised as a "very fine" abrasive and, with shellac, can be used as a grain filler.
Maybe some experiments are in order?
Maybe check out jewellery tool suppliers?
Mind you, I have never heard of "FFFF" as I think that other terms are used in jewellery work??? :confused:

Made up some shellac today.....wife wouldnt believe me when I told her you can eat the flakes. I love the way the stuff melts into the meths....
Tomorrow will be start of sealing job on the guitar. Three coats of shellac and then a filling job with the pumice.
