More Oil and orbital sanders

From my last few speaker projects I’ve been finishing off the veneer with Organoil’s Interior simply wiped on and I’ve been reasonably happy with the results. <o></o>

Someone gave me some iron-on veneer a while ago but this freebie turned out to be a dud and the end results were pretty bad, so this week I re-veneered the cabinets but finished off with two “float” coats of oil using 600 wet/dry on the orbital. Now being pretty inexperienced at finishing I was pleasantly surprised (1) how easy this is and (2) final silk smooth finish.

Promise to try some U-Beaut products on next new project.
