Hi
Decided on timber flooring for the new house and was wondering how would I go about tongue and grooving a heap of boards for the lounge room. Want this room to be a bit of a show piece.
i was going to choose some really nice tassie timber boards to run through the thicknesser but am lost on how to do the T and G side of it.

One way that you could do it is to get a T&G router set. Like this

These ones are from McJing and are only $80. Of course there are better quality bits which will last longer.

Absolutely ! One time cost. No dust. No noise. Quicker than you think. Builds your muscles. Want need to go to the gym anymore dazzler. Use a 45 for long enough you shouldn't have any trouble picking up chicks like the one in your Avatar. .......only just noticed now. There's no nose on that bird.Quote:

Here in Tassie we can get flooring run for around $1 p/m,the boards are straightened as well as moulded,there must be a company there close to you which can do moulding for you.Just be careful that the timber is dry as you don't want shrinkage after the flooring has been put down.
