I got a new (chinese POS) A3 laminator sometime ago and never used it
So wanted to laminate some a3 sheets.
It just doesnt do it , either its not hot enough, or doesn't have enough pressure or is too fast through the rollers.
So does anyone know the operating temp of a pouch laminator?
Can a heat press be used for laminating pouches, if so any idea of temp settings and times.?
Bob, have you got the manual? On the ones at work, I put the heat up to level 4. I'll have a look tomorrow for the actual temps.
now i reckon I put the manual in a safe place.
trouble is I can never remember where the infernal safe place is.
Or I have a resident safe place monster that gobbles all the goodies up, just like the washing machine monster who gobbles up one sock out of a pair:D
I let ours go for about 10 minutes with the rollers on.
It has a warm up mode where the rollers dont move, but I find it gets cold patches.
Setting around 4ish

I think when you go into the "warm" phase, it only warms between the rollers so the rest of the rollers are luke warm.Quote:

I thought it was a pos coz it takes a lot longer to warm up than my A4 laminator so I was ready to throw it out.:rolleyes:
Glad you got it working. The temp for the work beast is 130 C. :)
