Some shops probably stock them in Australia, it will be quicker & probably cheaper to get one from LeeValley.
:) :) I suggest you use local knowledge ie. Timber Promotion Council (Aust) as they have DIY and Prof. Manual for these projects. Also U.S. books are for U.S. & not with local timbers.
Previous comment of "less span between bearers is better" is the way to go.
