Dead horse walking

>The tribal wisdom of the Dakota Indians,passed from generation to generation,it dictates that when one discovers one is riding a dead
horse,the best strategy is to dismount.
>However the Indians' way has been ditched in contemporary Australian Goverment departments and Corporate companys,for more Advanced strategies, such as:
>Buy a stronger whip
>Change riders
>Threaten the horse with termination
>Appoint a committee to study the horse
>Arrange to visit other countries,to see how they ride dead horses
>Lower the standards so dead horses can be included
>Reclassify the dead horses as living-impaired
>Hire outside contractors to ride the dead horse
>Harness several dead horses together to increase the speed
>Provide additional funding and/or training to increase the dead horses
>performance
>Declare that as the dead horse does not have to be fed,it is less
>costly,carries less overheads,and therfore contributes substantially more
>to the bottom line of the economy
>Conduct a productivity study,to see if lighter riders improve the dead
>horses performance
>Rewrite the expected performance requirments
>and should all else fail
>Promote the dead horse to a supervisory position
