Pretty much as the title, what's the PROs and CONs of a tiled over shower pan vs a tiled over screed , in my instance going over a concrete slab?

Assuming you want a flat walk in shower a tile over pan needs the surrounding area to be built up, so unless the slab is recessed you will still need to screed the rest of the room.
A tile over pan already has the angles an slope already built in.
Thanks, Droog. Trying to work out what my batter option is, its an existing bathroom I demode some time back, and there is an existing recess in the slap from a pan but it was an acrylic base. The recess was for a 900mm square shower, and has about a 30mm recess into the slab. I'm wanting to have approximately a 1200mm long shower without raised raised hob.
