Barry is the rail bracket drilled into a timber stud and broken it out? If not, move it to a stud. If it is on a stud you may be able to drill out and glue in a dowel to make the mount sound. If the mount is biased towards one side, move it a bit so it's in the centre of the stud. If the stud is really split, cut the sheeting out around it and see what needs to be done eg glue and clamp or glue in a patch.
As above :whs:
Totally useless fixing to a wall sheeting no matter what it is, it needs to extend into a structural member.
have you tried fixing it??
I mean not to sound harsh but posting a close up pic of something thats broke and asking "how do i fix this" with zero other information isn't going to get a lot of responses
Might help to provide:
a few more pictures of the whole area
why this has happened
are you trying to screw into timber, concrete, nothing at all
Hey Barry
Have to agree with the above replies.
More information and photos needed. Pretty hard to offer assistance on one photo and no other information, etc, etc.
Cheers - Neil
thread should probably move to stairs or plastering. It's not a hint or a helpful tip
