May or may not help to bring some of the members over to here if they need help or info etc. At least it's a bit in-ya-face and may make them aware that this forum does exist and is up and running.
I remember when we split off Reno and MWF from WWF that most members had no idea there was another forum as most tend to stay where they are. Metalwork Forums and Woodwork Forums are so much more specialised than Reno which is a lot more.
On WWF the turners tend to stick with turning and similar stuff carvers the same tool makers the same. Wit General Woodwork being a bit of everything \for every one.
On MWF it's much the same thing. I doubt if any more than a few dozen really know that Reno is here as they in the long run are rather insular in their forum use.
And going by the number of views to posts on here there are only about 17 continual users reading the new threads, and around 24 to 25 members visit the site in a 24 hr period. At the tim of typing this it was 15 in last 24 hrs
The HELP thread has been read by only 17 and 3 of them are Me, Steven and DJ plus Librarian (also me) so only 13 in total.
Let's hope that the Invite Notices get under the skin of enough to make them come here for at least a look and maybe even contribute.
