Using plasterboard on a MDF false wall ?

Hi,
currently renovating a kitchen.
plan to build a false wall "around 60mm wide" between the fridge and kitchen cabinets.

2 x 10mm plasterboards and 40 mm frame or 2 18mm thick MDF boards.


Is it ok to use plasterboard on both sides of an mdf board or will the plaster crack due to a difference in expansion ?

For a 55mm wall, I'd make the frame from 35x70 pine on its side and add the plasterboard to each side, and full width of the edge facing into the room, add external corners.

Or possibly easier (avoid stopping up of the plaster corners) use those MDF boards on the outside and another MDF frame between, to seperate them to the desired overall thickness

PS. I don't think cracking will be a problem

checked lengths of the pine by placing them against the edge of MDF sheets.
They had a bow of 5-10mm, don't want to spend the time plastering the wall to look straight, would be noticeable next to the fridge.
The inner MDF frame might be the easiest option, no more gaps could hide the gap on the back corner behind the fridge, the other wall or ceiling joints won't be seen.
