Please help with second opinion for Central Heating Repair Diagnosis - before replacing

Last year or two about this time a repairman sand blasted the burners and all worked until recently.

Getting a strong insistence from the accountant
that before buying a new unit
I sould I make sure.

So
Pilot Flame was going out.
When pilot lit manually
The heater would flame on and work properly.

Until over night the pilot light would be off again.

Repairman came out cleaned everything.
pilot light was on and stronger than before.
Repairman left with both working.
Controller working on and off.

everything worked the next day.

Buth this morning
Pilot light stayed lit overnight
but wouldn't flame on.

Hit the reset button.
And flame on.

Any help other than just replacing would be much appreciated.

Googling the brand and model reveals nothing, have seen similar issues with other manufacturers and the manual will often give you a good breakdown of the start and run processes.

With a pilot flame as opposed to surface ignition it probably is going to come down to gas valve or flame sensor.
If there are limited parts all you can do is replace the ones that are available and if its deeper than that then replacement is probably the best option.

Wonder if replacing that Gas heater with an electric heater is viable.

The motor in the gas heater will not be 600kW, dont care what the ID plate says it is wrong.
The power rating from the ID plate is 240v 5.0A, = 1200w so maybe 600W motor ?
In a gas heater the motor is for moving air and does not add to the heating power, you need to compare the heat output of the gas heater that will be kW, Mj or maybe BTU but you would need to get the specs for an Airite EX110 from the manufacturer.

The 14kW electric heater is the heating output from the unit, it is the basis of the size of the unit needed. In simple terms the larger the area to be heated the more kW's required.

Of course with ducted heating it is also about the duct design and efficiency, zoning and maximum / minimum registers open will all come into the calculations.
If you are looking to replace gas ducted heater with electric ducted then factor in complete duct replacement. IE complete new install.
Reason is that electric ducted is a lower heat and higher volume of air that is used, the ducts and vents used for the gas will most likely need to be increased in size.

The asthetics would not be appealing.
5 heads max on electric up grade.
We have 13 outlets.

Back to Bonaire MB530kw external as a replacement.

Just had a quick flash of an idea stepping out the door.
This unit is being replaced with the MB631.

Should I salvage the fan out of the old one.
As it blasts air thru 13 ducts.

I could use the fan as a dust extractor for the shop or maybe a dust extraction table top.

Any thoughts anyone?

Check the type and construction of the fan.
For ventilation yep go for it, dust extractors have a solid construction impeller as bits of timber will destroy a lesser construction designed to move only air.
