Hi, we've been interested in finding out more about your product so would you mind answering a few questions please?
We are planning a kitchen island table 2700L x 1700W. We'd like to use seasoned eucalyptus slabs from our
property, milled down to wide planks. We were told they are Sydney blue gum. What I do know for sure is the wood is dark red with some lighter, pinkish areas. While the wood is attractive it's a huge area to be so dark and pink and we'd like to lighten it, if possible.
I. Would lightening it run the risk of turning it all pink?
2. If it could be bleached out to the colour of creamy Tassie Oak, how many applications would be required
and how much product would this use?
3. How much would this cost, please?
Alternately, we are thinking of using 'Manuka' coloured stain to make it browner to tone down the pink, but that won't make it less of an overpowering presence in the room.
For sentimental reasons we'd like to use the timber we have. Two eucalypts were struck at the roots by lightening, which ironically, didn't have a lightening affect, just a fatal effect.

Ho Cleo, The RWB will not leave any pink tones. Over the last couple of years, we have discovered that the RWB will enable you to take red to brown very Easly. I am Going to suggest that you consider the Rubio Monocoat range of Stains and Oil2c colors after the RWB treatment to get your preferred look. Feel free to call and ask for me-Larry. Happy to help.
Once you have completed the treatment, you are then able to apply whatever color you choose. The last image in this post is the end result from treating Jarrah.
