Recycled jarrah bench seat
Hi, Last year we got some recycled jarrah timber and used it to build a garden shed that looks great. I use Cabot's timber oil to keep it looking good. There is still some timber left (2 by 2.5 inches) and we want to sand this back, attach to limestone blocks and use as a bench seat. I have sanded it using 40 and 80 grit paper and want to know what finishing I need to do next to make sure no-one gets splinters in their hands (or other parts) I was hoping to oil it as well to tie in with garden shed. Any suggestions?
