Why is the Musical Instruments sub-forum is in the TABBED FORUMS FOR TAPATALK group?
It says "for mobile use only". Can non-tapatalk users post in that sub?
And why aren't most of the other subs in the Tabbed for Tapatalk group?
I only ask, because I don't think new posts in the Musical Instruments sub have been showing up for me under New Posts.

I’ve asked Neil (ubeaut) to chime in here, but yes you can post in these sub forums and all new posts definitely do show up in new posts, as I can see this one at the time of posting this in new posts.
You have to remember that these have low traffic, so quite easy to miss a post or new thread when they do come up.
New Posts bit first.
Bit complicated... sort of, but not, basically common sense, so here goes:
All new threads or posts anyone makes will show in the New Post tab but not to the poster as it is not a new post to the poster, because, ta-daaa... the poster, posted it so has already seen it. It will show up for anyone else looking in New Post tab, until they have seen it, then it won't show to them or the poster again until there is another new post added.

Why Tapatalk?
Mostly because the forums in that section were optimised to work properly in TapaTalk when it first came out. TapaTalk has had a lot of problems working in full on these forums and has caused lots of problems in the past. It also had the job of keeping some forums in a more concise form rather than adding another 38 forums plus headings to the full forum:
15 in Library, 13 Metalwork, 3 Musical Instruments and 7 in the Wooden Boat forums
Not going to release them out into the forums in their own right but will change the heading to make it a bit less confusing. Might take a day or so to do this but nothing much will change from the way it now is.
