G'day from Mount Macedon
Hi friends,
Just moved to Mount Macedon after living in California for the last decade or so. While I was in the US I was lucky enough to have access to a well set up shop and a fair bit of available oak, doug fir, madrone and manzanita and discovered the joys of making things with wood.
I'm currently delving into Japanese joinery but am pretty early on in my journey. Despite using mostly hand tools, I plan on setting up our garage as a shop with a few essentials including a table saw and thickness planer.
I look forward to learning from you all!
ps - here are a couple of recent small things I made - a hexagonal box and a marking gauge.
