google earth pro

wanting to save a pic from google earth pro but a couple of issues.

I have lost the compass that is supposed to be in top right corner, its not there...how do I find it and get it back. solving that I should then be able to turn the coastland I want sideways and get a bigger pic.. correct.

Settings for the compas are in "View" then Show Navigation set to always or automatic.
