SWMBO came home the other night, a bit worse for wear after an evening out with the girls.
She knocked down the gate posts, flattened the flower beds and finally slammed into the front of the house.
Thankfully, she wasn't driving a car.

It is funny but I didn't speak to my MIL for about 35 or so years. It is one of those family things that would embarrass family members that I really care about. But let me put it this way, it was 35 years of absolute bliss.
Two comments that may be amusing:
We were at the in-laws home. SIL said, "You're not saying very much." I said, "I'm biting my tongue." SIL says, "And doing a might good job might I say."
The youngest BIL was giving me a bad time about family interactions. I said, "I never had a real father until I married your sister." The response was total silence. FIY - We still don't get along.
As for why MIL and I didn't speak for 35 years: The story would probably take a couple of Jameson on the rocks for me to open up.
I had my credit card stolen last week but I don't think I'll bother to report it.
The thief is spending less than SWMBO would.
