Looking for an older, hands on person 10hrs pw, Ashfield, Sydney

Between work, 4 kids (uni/high school), a large, old, unrenovated home, several vehicles, collections of stuff, and an unrelenting wife, I'm hoping to find a retired bloke who can assist with basic building/renovating, mechanics, yard work, etc, 2 x 5hours or so pw.

Renumeration won't be mind boggling, but neither will the workload.

Need to be able to get stuff done properly without being prodded.

Quietish, flexible, left leaning, a tad cynical but still open minded, preferred.
