Poll Questions

I frequently receive calls from pollsters asking me to participate in
telephone surveys.

One woman began with a barrage of questions.

"Wait a moment," I interrupted. "Who are you and whom do you represent?"

She told me and immediately continued asking questions.

Interrupting her again, i asked, "What's the purpose of this survey?"

"Sir" she replied irritable, "I don't have time to answer your questions."

Then she hung up.

Nice to be on the other end of it.

Occasionally I'll get an automated version.

"Are you male or female?"
"Press one for male or press two for female."

I press three and they hang up.
