Experience with using CA glue on mitres of skirtings or crown molding

I'm thinking about applying a bit of CA glue on my mitre corners as well as the usual securing method, i.e., CA on one half and accelerator/activator on the other half. I came across this on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1u3z...W&index=27.
Has anybody got any experience with it?
