out of the mouths

At the weekend I was talking to an elderly lady who I've known for a fair while.
When her daughter died she raised her granddaughter. The granddaughter now has a seven year old son.

The granddaughter and her son now live in the city which is a 2 1/2 hour drive away.
So the elderly lady had a phone call from the boy ( remember he's seven ).
"Hello nana I have a question for you"
"could you lend me some money but don't tell mum "
" I suppose I could, but what do you want the money for "
" well if you lend me some money, mum could buy another baby and I could come back and live with you "
