Hello, I just visited a potential investment property that's for sale in Brisbane. The house is on stumps (75mm gal box beams) towards the rear of the house and I noticed that the owner has drilled a hole and threaded through a 10mm gal bolt to hold up vertical battens. He has used rubber washers and painted over to keep the rain out, but I'm not sure it'll pass inspections. Any ideas?
