Can't post in some forums

Hi, I haven't posted here in many years and things seemed to have changed a bit.
There is a thread in metalwork I am trying to post to but I don't seem to have 'permissions' to do that there.
Is there any reasons for this? Hopefully something I can change?

The Metalwork forums have been split off as a separate forum, you can see it from here but you have to go there to post.
