Hi,
I paint my wood with Betex solvent-based wood dye.
1) How do I get rid of those dyes in my hands. I tried rubbing my hands with turpentine but to no avail.
2) How do I reduce the colour of the dye to a lighter shade, can I add water?
Thanks

Man who run in front of car get tyred.
Go to Bunnings and pick up some Bostick Handi-Clean waterless cleaning wipes.
These wipes come in a container much like the wipes used to clean babies butts and they work a treat, that good in fact that they even remove two pack polyurethane.
Most safety shops stock "Reduran". It is a German product and you rub it into the affected area, then add a little water and work it around, then rinse off. Wash after with ordinary soap as it stinks.
We use it here where I work to take marking ink off hands. I use it at home after staining.
Do they have Bunnings in Singapore Dusty ?
I'd try methylated spirits.
