Cracking in back walls of old house.

Hi everybody,

What a great forum we have here with regard to help and information on issues around the house!

We have a 1940's house just north of Perth city. We have limestone foundations, wooden floor-boards and on the back third of the house a verandah with post bearers.

We have had some cracks appearing in our main bedroom wall which have opened up in the last year.

I am just wondering what everybody can suggest in sureing up the rear bearers. We are also looking for some reputable post bearer tradesman/builders in Perth.
