Renovation stress how long to recover?

I was fine until the last month or so but the stuff up with the carport and not having anywhere to cook or wash up has been very hard the last few weeks
The Boss has found it harder than me as Cecile is normally a sort of organised person and mess and messy add to her stress and fatigue levels

Cecile and I are still together so no renovation induced divorce here but we will need to get away for a few days when all this is done
How long has it taken others to recover the "OOMPH"
A couple of weeks to enjoy out new space but I think we should take a week at least and go visit some mates and acquaintances
AND
No new projects for at least 3 months
