Disabled Parking Madness

Yesterday (27th July) I witnessed one of the most blatant examples of selfishness and complete and utter disregard for those around them. After spending a little time at Carbatec Springvale I returned to the carpark to witness this:

The owner appeared to be a spritely 40-50yo, didn't have a disabled permit and left their keys in the ignition.

I sincerely hope the owner isn't a regular woodworker or a member here. Because, if you are, you need a reality check mate.

Please, lets look after each other.

At least he/she had the decency to take only half of it.

I would have removed the keys, hid them under a plant in the garden and then called the local council parking inspector and told him where the keys were.

Yeah, thought of that but didn't want to go as low as him. At the end of the day it's on private property and the council wouldn't have been able to do squat. I told the guys from Carbatec on the front counter and all they did was peer out the window and shrug their shoulders.

Yep, if it hadn't been a Mercedes it would have been a BMW or a Volvo.

I forgot to add he had a "Sanndringham Yacht Club" sticker on the front window.

I don't know what the fuss is??? He left the keys for the Valet to park it, surely the issue lies with the lazy valet…..what Carbatec has no valet??? Must of mistaken it for the yacht club.

I'd have been tempted to park it out in the middle of the road for him.

Ok be fair his side of the car is not in the in the disabled bay :), hate to sea how they more the boat

Wish I could understand the language, but it is pretty clear what the intent is anyway

lmao, that video is so funny. while trying to make a quick getaway, he kept needing to get out of the car to remove a few more of the stickers so he could see his mirrors. it would have been better if that was in australia..booked for littering, booked for parking in a disabled spot, booked for not properly displaying number plates, car impounded for a month for breaking traction, the list goes on im sure.... :)

Clearly the driver is disabled, BLIND!
AND the seeing eye dog needs to be re-calibrated!!! :((

I know a mechanic who used to run a home based business opposite a high school. The parents mainly mothers used to regularly park across his driveway blocking it and wander off into the school, which annoyed him greatly and he used to do all sorts of things to make this known.

He would routinely move the cars down the street, jacking them up and rolling them on trolleys. He even parked one in the middle of the busy main rd. To his amazement every time the owner simply walked out got in the car and drove off seemingly oblivious to the new location of said vehicle.. Every time we visited he had another dozen stories of antics he had tried.

Seems like some people don't care and others live in a total lack of awareness of their surroundings.

Would have been more amusing if he had left the cars on the trolleys or put blocks under them.
