Victorian Window with Sidelight - what size to choose?
Hi RenovateForum,
I'm getting some Victorian Windows with Sidelights (see pic) manufactured for my double fronted victorian (see pic). I'm just wondering if anyone can give me some recommendation on what size to go with? The houses I drive past with these style windows are typically rectangular shaped, with the height being larger than the width. I've been advised that H1800mm x W1800mm will be fine, but I fear it may look a bit square.
What are the determining factors for choosing the most appropriate sized window, that would be true to the period of the house (early 1900s)?
