Hi there

I'm a recently retired desk jockey who has bought a lathe and a couple of carving knives, and I'm looking forward to doing a bit of woodworking that I've never had the time to do till now.

This forum looks to be a great place to get some helpful pointers and hints on what for me is a new hobby, and to learn from folk who have a lot of knowledge and experience.
