Quote for installation of 15a circuits?

Hi all,

I've been battling with work-site spec. extension cords (2) supplying 10a circuits to my ex-garage/shed.

One of the main issues is that the TS is a 3hp machine, which should really run from a 15a circuit, so dims the lights on start-up.

I run the 2hp DC on the other circuit, but even that beastie dims the lights on start-up as well.

So, I'd be interested to know if any spark-minded peruser of this forumhttp://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com...ons/icon12.gif might be willing to quote for, (and if ok) install a couple of hard-wired 15a circuits with proper fusing/circuit-breakers and outlets?

i recently installed a 15A cct with 2 outlets in my shed.
I used 2.5mm 3 core wiring and got that from a mate *used about 25m of it).

i did all the grunt work and got the neighbour whos a sparkie to wire the mains box for me.

standard cabling practice is all thats required simple and easy with some pvc ducting (I got 2 m offcut from a mate) 4 x cleats and a small box of those plastic thingo's that you use to run a cable along a beam
- anyone can run some cable and wire a simple 240v plug. it took me about 2 hrs labour and 30mins for the sparkie to check and wire the cct back to a 20A cct breaker.

ended up costing me $50 and carton of crownies (which I got for free for another job - barter is excellent!!! Mr John Howard - I dont drink you see...)

so my point is - do the grunt work yourself and get a sparkie to quote for the supply of the cct breaker and the mains wire connections and you'll save a bucket - easy peasy!

That's one smart A . . . pe! :D
