Are these termites or Bullants?

Was just having a look moments ago and noticed what I fought were bullants coming out of a crack in between the slab of the house and some concrete. Anyway, i got the spray out and attacked the area, then all of a sudden a whole lot of them come out of the opening and the thing that got me worried was that some of them flew away (ie they had wings). Don't know if I'm paranoid or what, but I didn't think that bullants end up going through this transformation, and am thinking they may be termites at different stages. Can anyone confirm?
