Query about wall reinforcement

I am looking for abit guidance with regards to building a core filled structural wall for an outdoor pool hut basically it will be a 5m straight wall to support the back side of the structure, I have received the engineering plans for the pool hut and the engineer has specified some wall reinforcement to be placed in the walls which i fully expected.

What i would like some assistance with is understanding of the terminology which has been used by the engineer so I know what needs to be done.

Specifically under the concrete block masonry section it is defined that
All reinforcement bars to be deformed bars class 'n' grade d500n - yield stress 500mpa in accordance with AS4671 and AS3600. Unless noted otherwise all reinforcing to be -
(This is the section i am not clear about)
N12@400 vertical wall reinforcement - 450 laps
N12@400 longitudinal wall reinforcement - 450 laps including L bars at corners and intersections.

As the wall is a block wall which is required to be core filled, i expected the wall to have vertical rebar from the starter bars in the slab up through the wall but i am not sure what the longitudinal wall reinforcement is and how it should be installed.

Additional to this with regards the vertical rebar, i would like to understand what the correct practice is with the placement of rebar during the construction of the wall, ie its not feasible to have one long length of rebar tied to the starter bar for the entire wall i would assume it is cut and joined is this correct otherwise it would be a nightmare getting the blocks over and down the full length of the rebar for the wall. ? If it is cut and joined what typically is the lengths that it should be cut and joined as the wall is erected ?

Hope that is enough detail and someone can point me in the correct direction with this, i appreciate and feedback given.
