Moving a house

Giddy guys,

I was was wondering if anyone has had first hand experience in buying a house and having it relocated
to a new site.

I was thinking of buying a house off a removal company where the cost is inclusive of moving it to the new site, re stumping etc.

However I wanted to hear from someone who has gone through the entire process and find out about the good and the bad.

In particular if they thought it was worth it and cost effective rather than building new.

Any advice would be appreciated and if anyone could recommend a company in Melbourne.
