Description of Marriage

Not an original - I just never thought of it myself.

An old mate of mine said,

" Marriage is like a pack of cards
At first it is all Hearts and Diamonds
Over the years,
it degenerates into Clubs and Spades
And,
Guess,
Who is the Joker?"

It was a joke but I thought it was pretty good.

My father once told me
that marriage was an institution,
WHO in their right mind wants to spend
the rest of their life in an institution!!!!!!!!
