RIP David Liard of the OTGA

I was saddened as are all the members of the Ornamental Turners of Australia Group to learn of David Lairds passing on Monday.

David was a leading force in the group ad long time member. A mentor to many based at Llandilo where the group meets every Wednesday as well as those who couldn't attend.

Many would know David from various woodshows as the well spoken gent, a master walking stick maker and Ornamental Turner. David was often the one who came up with innovative new ways, gadgets and ideas.


You'll be sadly missed my friend but will live on in many hearts and minds.
