SWMBO is off to an embroidery course in late June.
It is Concord Sydney.
I've been googleing accomm, but wondered if anyone here has suggestions, or have good experiences with accomm in the area?
We are looking for three nights and must have/include car parking.
Anything good we'll also use for the woodworking shows too.
B&B, motel, caravan park cabin sort of thing.
Anyone with good/bad for suggestions?

Lyle I can't recall any in or around Concord, Rhodes itself but check for such as Ryde, West Ryde, Parramatta Rd, Homebush at the ANZ sports stadium.Quote:

If you want a caravan park or cabins, the closest is probably at Lane Cove: Lane Cove River Caravan Park.

Depends what you want and what you want to pay.
Back in 11 my ex and I stayed at the Formule 1 (now Ibis Budget) in Enfield which if memory serves correct isn't too far from Olympic Park.
Parking is outside but we never had any problems, its clean and well run, but basic (don't expect a king size bed and a 40 inch tv) but well equipped if you're out all day and just somewhere to sleep shower and ship.
i am not so hot on sydney geography but i notice some have suggested ryde .. i often stay at either travelodge or mgsm at ryde .. both quite good ... easy walk down to the shops ... take a lamp for mgsm if your wife wants to do embroidery or if you want to read a book (lights quite dim)Quote:

We'll try them out.
