Glass tiles

We have these tiles that have a thin layer of glass on top. SWMBO was told that you couldn't cut these,http://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com...cons/icon5.gif are there any tilers out there who know if thats a correct statement? As she wants to put them around the laundry sink taps and splash back

Yon can cut them with a wet saw.
