Hi all,
I've been hanging around here for a while, learning a lot about the woodworking craft that I am finding myself drawn to. I need to learn quite a few basic skills and accumulate some tools to start tackling projects, but really enjoying the learning process so far.

You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.

hall mens shed
Depending on where you live you might like to join the hall mens shed where we undertake a variety of wood working projects.
We meet Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays from 10:00 to 12:30ish. at the former Hall Primary school in Palmer street. Thursday is our main day and we have a monthly BBQ on the first Thursday of the month

Hey paul welcome to the forum.
I'm from Canberra also. Haven't had a chance to sign up to any of the guilds as of yet but have my own dedicated garage/workshop. I'm only just starting out also.
There's a lot of friendly experienced people on here so im sure you will learn alot
