Advise required for cleaning and prepping VJ walls

Hi,
Have an ancient Queenslander with mouldy walls and up to 3mm gaps between the VJ's.

a) what is the best mould remover and how to make sure it stays away. (it is a bedroom in the South West corner of the house right away from the bathroom or kitchen so no exposure to water really)

b)best product and method to fill the gaps.

c) best paint type to keep it mould free
