I have a pair of Dunlop "runners" that have hardly been worn.
The soles are lifting and I note there is little glue in evidence.

Selleys make a shoe glue, you can get it from Bunnings/Coles etc... I have used it and it works ok, a tube is enough for probably a dozen shoes.

Not sure what type of glue it is, smells like contact adhesive to me..

:yes: A rubber-based contact adhesive is what I use.
I forget it's brand/name, though, as I bought a 1 liter tin years ago and the label has long since been eaten by bugs. :B
I have been told that Loctite polyurethane PL construction adhesive is just the thing for shoes. I tried barge contact glue/cement, but it didn't hold.
