A belated Christmas joke

3 Guys die on Christmas eve and are at the pearly gates together.

St. Peter tells them that because it is Christmas eve they have to have something representing Christmas if they are to get in the pearly gates.

The first guy, an Englishman, fumbles in his pockets and pulls out a lighter and flicks it on and says 'this is a candle' so Peter lets him through the gates.


The second guy, a Scotsman, pulls out his keys and jingles them and says 'these represent bells' so Peter lets him in.


The third guy, an Irishman, fumbles in his pockets and eventually pulls out a pair of ladies knickers.

Peter says what's christmassy about those and the Irishman replies...They're Carols.
